The Altoona Food Bank offers residents of Blair County a maximum three-day supply of food for those in need of short-term emergency assistance who do not qualify for immediate government aid. Residents may receive food services up to 12 times within a 12-month period.

At FELC, we recognize that many families struggle to put food on the table. We are continually proactive in providing nonperishable items along with cleaning supplies and hygiene products. A designated area in our narthex is set aside for these donations, which we then deliver directly to the Food Bank. We also participate in special food drives throughout the year.
